With the CRV vibration Issue nearing a year since owners began complaining is it possible for the CRV Owners Club web site, on behalf of all members, contact Honda directly and ask for an official update regarding this problem? The 2 video updates on YouTube posted by Honda have acknowledged that there is indeed a problem but to date only a reflash to fix of the 3 vibration mode issues identified by Honda has been addressed. It appears that there are some Honda USA employees who frequent this site and maybe they would be able to get an official update besides the "we are working on it". Some members have patiently waited almost a year with this problem. It is not some factitious issue affecting a small number of drivers. I think after a year Honda does owe its loyal owners a more detailed explanation. People understand that cars are complicated and that there is no such thing as a quick fix.

Just bought a 2013 (new) CRV EX-L. We're enjoying it very much and look forward to participating in this forum. My wife and I are retired and live in Hilton Head Island, SC. We look forward to traveling in our CRV with our two Australian Shepherds.

Im names Jeff and Im brand new to the forum.

As noted, I have a 2007 CRV, just shy of 160,000 mi., EX-L NAV etc. Its treated me well for some time now.

    Heres a tire story.

The back-story: Ive rotated my tires every 5,000 mi since new and they wear evenly. I maintain 30 psi.

    The story:
My CRV came with Continental Contact tires. They lasted 23,150 mi.

The next were Michelin Cross Terrain SUV, they lasted to 79,040 (55,890 mi.) This is my best lasting set of tires.

The next more Cross Terrain tires and they lasted to 124,696 (45,656 mi).

The next were Michelin Latitude Tour. They are about shot and need to be replaced. They've only 35,304 miles. This set came up about 30,000 miles short of warranty!

Im pretty diligent about caring for my tires, yet they always wear out too quick.

Im thinking about getting the Michelin Defenders or something else. I think a warranty is important, as theyll give you a credit for early wear.

    Jeff

Hi all, I am looking at buying my brother a 2003 2.4L sports CRV (in Australia) My concern is that he is 6ft 3 and most of the CVR's here have the sunroof which takes valuable head room - anyone out there know if his height will be a problem? It is a surprise so I can't get him to sit in it and try it out. (I think he has a fairly balanced body ie, not a long/short torso or short/long legs). Any feedback would be great. Cheers

Greetings everyone. I'm from the UK and am now the proud owner of an Crystal Pearl, EX Auto. It's bristling with technology and I'm still coming to terms with the <500 page Owners Manual. I've owned Honda's previously - an early Accord and a Civic, but this vehicle is something else. I'm still trying to find out how it makes my tea !!! Oh, the joys of motoring.

I'm about to finish up my lease to a 2009 CRV EX, my third CRV, and considering my next move. I love the versatility and fun of the CRV so I'll get another, but am considering the optional Sat Nav. Is it worth it? The only complaint I have about my CRV is the rear hatch - it drips on me when I open it in the rain. Has this been fixed in the 2013 model?

Glad to find this group of loyal CRV owners!

I purchased a 2013 CRV EX recently. I purchased the Honda Maintenance contract (4 yr/48,000) which includes all scheduled maintenance. Just want to know if that's a reasonable price or not. I'm still within my 60 day full cancellation for full refund. Thanks for your help.

I just recently bought an 04 Honda CR-V with 70500 miles on it. I know that this model has a known issue with the A/C compressor. Besides the fact that it works, I was wondering if there are any tell tale sings that it has already been replaced. It is an 8 year old vehicle and has went through 8 Arizona summers. I think if it was going to fail, it would have done so by now.
