Pretty sure that having the high and low beams on at the same time would not make much improvement but would blind the heck out of oncoming traffic for sure. We as owners should NOT be looking for ways to improve this issue. It's the reflector design that is the problem and as such; it is Honda's responsibility to fix.
Tuk
maybe i wasnt clear...
i want the lows to stay on with the highs
HELL YEA both on together will blind people!!
only an idiot has the highs on with oncoming traffic.
i couldnt diagree more about together NOT being an improvement
Am I correct that the high and low beams are in one bulb assembly? Running them both together would double the heat output in that single lamp and reflector. I would be surprised if it was designed to handle that. Not to mention that the wiring, connectors, switches, etc. are all designed for a specific load. I think you would be asking for trouble.
I complained about the high beams to my salesman and he said nothing can be done. I had just bought my car and i had to bring it back so they could put on my goodies and if by magic my cars high beams were now usable, i could see the road and had much more side vision. I am now totally happy with my new car.
