What is everyone getting with there 2017? Do you have AWD? Which engine 1.5 turbo or 2.4. CVT?

Also which speed on the highway are you finding is the sweet spot for the best MPG?

Yes, I do. I had set Trip B to reset at fill-up and it worked. My wife was driving and I was pumping. When we got home I checked and it had zeroed Trip B while Trip A hadn't been altered. This was our first fill-up at 159 miles of in town driving and experimenting with various settings while doing lots of idling. We got a hand calculated 21 MPG with no idea of what the computer thought.
Since this setting requires gathering data immediately before fueling, I think that I will change it back to Manual. We live less than 1.5 miles from our usual gas station so gathering this data in the comfort of our own driveway/garage is much more convenient.

I'm interested in knowing the real life fuel economy numbers people are getting. I currently drive a 2014 Accord V6 rated at 34 on the highway. I drive 140 miles a day round trip for work, with most of it highway. I average 31-32 in my Accord, which is fine. I am looking at trading for a CR-V Touring with the 1.5 Turbo. I would hope to get at least the gas mileage that I get in my Accord. I do NOT drive with Eco enabled on my Accord. I do not plan to enable it on the CR-V either. I find that it causes the car to be too sluggish. Any feedback would be appreciated! I'm looking to purchase in the next 6 months.

My 1.5L turbo LX is 2WD and it got 6.5L/100km (36 mpg) the other day driving in light traffic mostly highway at around 120km/h (75mph). I think AWD you lose 1 mpg. The fuel economy really surprises me. If you're darting in and out of traffic gunning it passing everyone your fuel economy is going to suck. if you drive like a normal person then the car is quite efficient. In the city i average around 8L/100km (29.4mpg)

The above numbers are with eco mode off. I found that eco mode gave me worse numbers....not sure if im gassing it more because eco mode makes your car really sluggish. dont even attempt to go up a hill with eco mode

I was wondering the same thing, my numbers have not been what others are posting and I've always kept eco on. I'm going to try taking it off tomorrow and seeing if it makes a difference. I find I also have to push it harder to get up and going and wondering if that is lowering my mpg.

Mine is Touring FWD. I've never get beyond 28MPG combined, always on green leaf ECO mode. I see the average Fuel A is always around 26 to 28MPG, is that normal ? It's advertise as 28 city 34 highway. Is there a way to check like an Instantaneous MPG ? I wish to check if while I'm on high-way, I get above 30MPG.
Thanks !

2017 CR-V Touring AWD

I did not keep track of the car's trip miles on first three fill-ups. The mpg listed below comes from the trip computer and was reset after each fill-up. At the end I calculated the mpg with fuel used and miles driven. The calculated mileage is 31.28 mpg overall (beginning with 1269 miles burning 160.182 gallons over 5,011 miles), revealing that the computer mileage is pretty accurate and well within the margin of error considering we don't know the accuracy of the pump quantity shown on the gas receipts.

The mileage killer seemed to be wind and vehicle speed. On the leg to Hays, KS we were driving into a strong (20-25 mph?) headwind. When driving at speeds above 70 mph, the mpg took a hit as you would expect. Our best mileage, around 35 mpg, seemed to be on heavily crowded interstates when traffic kept moving, and I think that may be because of less wind resistance due to the flow of traffic. I can't explain the last segment, other than we may have been traveling a wee-bit above the speed limit ;)

31.0 - Average MPG

I had a car for exactly a week today. Done about 360 miles. Averages 29-30mpg for combined driving. 35-36 mpg for highway, and 25-27mpg for city. Regular unleaded. Econ mode is on for me mostly, and as I am still breaking in the car, no hard accelerations or deceleration. I did idle for a fair bit when picking up the car and daily warm up.

Sorry, I lost the columns when posted and the data is hard to read.

Following the date is the mileage, but the first three lines do not have entries for this column. The third column shows the mpg from the computer. Then number of gallons used and the location.

First tank calculated to 34.1 Put in second tank today, calculated to 34.61. I am a volunteer driver for patients to receive treatment so my driving is probably half to 60% on city interstates at 60 MPH. I leave it on eco but press hard on accelerator when necessary. I normally exceed EPA figures with my cars. Am a happy camper with mpg so far.

Wow, I'm getting about 34 mpg combined on my FWD EX. Much better than I expected. So far only I have about 250 miles in cold temps near freezing. However, I'm a pretty slow driver. No idling, no sprints, no hammering the brakes. If these numbers are common I'll be very happy!

* Qualification : read my post from 11:23 pm tonight * ...I am getting an honest 16.4 mpg in City driving . The epa/honda numbers are phony. If I go out of the city or residential area and drive a route with a stoplight every mile or so ..average around 40-45 mph .. ..my mileage goes a little over 28mpg. If I hit the freeway the mileage will average 31-34 . But in relatively common around town driving where you are going 20-30 miles per hour or slower - the mileage is Horrendous. Econ or non - econ makes little difference. Using the best Chevron gas I can find ...which my dealer recommended.

The EPA number is not phony, you are just driving in a condition that wasn't factored into the tests. Also, many things can alter your MPG including temperature, traffic, altitude, etc.

Also, its great to see at least some are hitting the MPG figures posted by Honda. Makes me even more excited for my upcoming purchase of a 2017 CR-V :).
