    are you using overwattage or colored bulbs??

    bulbs should be replaced in pairs.
    generally when the first one goes, the second one is not far behind.

    For me changing to a standard OEM type bulb solved the problem; I'd try that first. The ultra bright bulbs just are not designed to last more than 6 months... and in my experience that would be the high end of the life expectancy.
