Low oil light constantly flashing

The US models don't have an low oil level indicator, right? We just have the red low oil pressure, but not the yellow low oil level.

Just don't want to confuse the rest of the readers.

I have the same problem on my 2007 CRV...oil light flashing...Do someone know if there are another problems for this ?

I'll check the fuses and maybe go to a local service or a Honda garage but maybe someone know the problem..

I just comeback from Honda local dealer and after an software update the light is off !

So if someone have this problem go for an soft update !!!

Did they charge you for the s/w update ? Was it a ECU update ?

I have has this problem since early 2011 on my 2007 Honda CRV. I looked on the honest John web site back then and discovered it was a software problem. This didn't stop the Honda dealership charging me 1/2 labour (£45 !!!) to tell me what I already knew; a DTC P250B warning. Apparently to fix it, they'd need to do a "software update" which would be another 30-60 mins labour. So I told them to stuff it. Total ripp off. Honda UK should stump up for costs of fixing their defective products. Are Honda UK aware of the Sales of Goods Act 1979 which cover faulty goods for 6 years. Or are they going to argue that software can be subject to "wear & tear" LOL. Anyway, I've passed the deals onto BBC Watchdog so see what they can make of it. Will update you all soon.
