Find someone to diagnose your problem who knows what they are doing did you find your dog how old is the battery I hope your dog is ok if the battery is old and has a bad cell the charging system may not be able to work properly Id still suggest finding someone more competent to look at your vehicle because it can get very expensive to keep changing parts until the problem goes away a bad eld will not cause a complete charging system failure

Me thinks battery to. Bad cell or intemittant short to cell from sediment or broken plate. They should charge the battery nd see if the battery will take a charge and hold voltager under a load. YD

This, from your first post on this thread that you started:

I made an assumption that your "flustered" state of mind indicated in a later response to another post might have been related to the stress of having a lost pet.

I am personally glad that, on the pet front at least, a happy outcome was achieved.

It would seem that your Honda dealership technician is somewhat lacking in certain minimally required diagnostic capabilities.

Honda charging systems are not rocket science.

Too bad that you have been saddled with a 'part hanger'.

well its fixed they ate most of the cost on the parts changing and time spent. It will be last time I will darken there door step, to bad for them. Strange they called today to see if all was okay. Some might say good customer service, I think they dont know what the problem is or was and are hoping it holds up.
All dogs are good and healthy I still dont understand but glad they are
