Take it back to the dealer...make them find,and fix the problem.
FWIW, electronic ignition/fuel injection engines don't "flood," but I agree with n5926g that, whatever is causing your CR-V not to start, it almost certainly requires an electronic "survey" of your CR-V's ignition system under conditions similar to those you experienced, and only your servicing dealer has the diagnostic equipment necessary to accomplish that.
That said, because I'm curious, how about describing more fully what you experienced. Had your CR-V been sitting outside in the cold overnight? How cold was it? Did you do anything other than just turn the ignition key, or did you also step on the accelerator? Were you able to get your CR-V started later, and if so, how did you accomplish that? Also, have you had either of the recent recalls done yet?
Sorry maybe I didn't mean it flood but cranking and not overturn. It happened when the car sat outside in the cold for about 5hrs. First time was similar condition. I would turn the key and engine would only crank, I would stop and try again immediately slightly stepping on gas pedal and it would run. Only recall I had done was to replace carbon buildup sensor. I plan on bringing in the crv next week to dealer to get this checked
I had this happen a few times the first couple months I had my CRV. My guess/theory is it is fuel pump related and normal. Before cranking, try putting the key in the II position for a second or two to give the pump a moment to kick in…then crank. It works for me or at least I think it does. Different cars take different amounts of time to turn over, it could also be you are just not used to the “normal” amount of cranking it takes for the CRV to turn over.
My 2011 CR-V w 5500 miles on it would not start this morning (Thurs 1-26).
Yesterday (Wed 1-25), it was temporarily parked in my driveway all day. Last night, I started it up and moved it into the garage, which took about 45 seconds. The outside temperature was about 30 degrees at the time. This morning, I went into the garage to start it and it would not turn over. The electrical system seemed to not have enough cranking power. I am wondering if it did not have time to recharge after the startup when I moved it into the garage so that is why it would not start. Any ideas from anyone?
After letting it sit in the garage all day (Thurs 1-26), I went to try it again this evening. By pumping the gas pedal a few times (just like in the old days), I was able to get it started. I thought I would take it for a drive but I noticed that it was smoking extensively through the exhaust. So, I backed it up and parked it in an extra spot in the driveway. Now, I need to decide what to do next. Any ideas?
This isn't like the "old days". If you think it is "flooded", press the pedal to the floor and hold it there. That is the signal to the computer to do the "right thing".
Your CR-V is still under warranty. Take it to the dealer. There are probably codes in the computer that can be read by the diagnostic equipment. Why spend time/money on something that Honda will fix for free.
Ever since the mid-80s when computer controlled cars came into being, I have had engines that would not start at different times.
Solution? Turn the ignition key ALL THE WAY OFF, count to 5, and try again. They always start on the second try.
Our '06 does this occasionally. I've never had it looked at...just go about my business.
++++++++
I could make a guess or two about WHY this happens but I won't because I'm not an auto engineer /electronics expert.

*Update* i brought the car in (2011 less than 5000 miles) to the dealer and they cannot find anything. The service manager explanation was this was common on crv's because of the electric gas pump, the key should be in position 2 for a few seconds before cranking. this will give time for pump to react. I've been doing so and the problem has not reoccurred.
In addition, i wrote to honda about this issue and waiting for a respond. i will follow up with a phone call as i want to have this issue on record for future reference
