2012 CRV AWD - squeaky frog sound ?

I was wondering if anyone else has this sound?
It sounds almost like a "squeaky frog"... when pressing brake and almost to full stop, letting go of brakes, and/or when just starting to press gas pedal from full stop.
It is so annoying in stop and go traffic.

i took it to dealer, they said it's normal sound... I've owned 5 hondas, never had this sound...

I have a noise when pressing on the pedal. I wouldn't call it "frog" sound though. The brake on this car does seem kinda plush. When I step on it, it feels like stepping on a plastic bag full of air and the air going out of the bag.

I'm not sure what a squeaky frog sounds like, but from what you're describing, it sounds like you may be hearing the break release from the hill assist feature. If you are on an incline (even minor), the breaks are automatically kept on until you hit the gas pedal.

My brake pedal has developed a squeak when I release the pedal. No noise on the gas pedal and it occurs anytime I use the brake. Being on an incline makes no difference. This is my 7th Honda and my 4th CRV. I have never had this noise, but my dealer says they all do. I do not believe it. Any advise??

Could it be the ABS re-setting? I've never heard it on my 3 Hondas, but I have on other ABS-equipped cars.
