    2005 CRV Randomly Not Starting

I have a 2005 CRV. It won't start sometimes. Today it was idling with the headlights on and after turning off the lights and engine it wouldn't start again, we had to get it jumped. Only the dash lights blinked the engine wouldn't turn over. It has done this on several occasions under similar circumstances with the same starting symptoms.

Then there are times when it starts fine in the same situation.

We had the battery, alt and starter tested and all tested fine.

    Any ideas?

How are the terminals? Any corrosion? Are they on tight? Maybe the battery is starting to fail. Have another shop test it again. This time have them put it on a more aggressive test.

Have you changed out the radio or any other electrical components lately?

    Thanks for the reply.

The terminals are fine. I am having Honda do a more complete battery check.

I have not replaced or added any electrical components.

    Thanks,
    Dave
