    Tire pressure indicator light

The weather changed here a little bit, temps hit the 30's. One particular evening the temps may have gone down to mid-20's causing the tire pressure light to turn on. The dealer said that tire pressure is very sensitive in newer vehicles. Will this be a a constant issue whenever the weather changes? What happens when it starts to freeze outside?

well what was your pressure actually at?
I checked mine today and they were a consistent 2 psi too low, but no light came on.
As far as i know, the light doesn't come on unless the pressure is REALLY low. I dunno exactly how low though

The system is designed for a 25% loss of recommended pressure. Drop in temperature will never be that much. I've experienced changes to way below zero F and never had my low pressure light come on.

OK here's to give you an idea, in summer the pressure in my V's tires was 32 ppi and lately the night getting colder and the tires pressure icon went off and when I check the tires it was only 25 ppi so I pump up to 35 ppi all around giving the weather will get much colder and the air will shrink in tires. anyway even with tpms we should be checking tires pressure at least once a month.
p.s: I think the V's tires pressure between 30 to 35 ppi we should be fine.

Will the TPMS also trip for excessive high pressure as well or just low pressure?

Tire pressure will change approximately 1 PSI for a 10 degree change in temp.
