Hello all,

I purchased an used 2007 Honda CRV a couple years ago that has an aftermarket Alpine IVA-W205 DVD player installed in it.

The previous owner also had a sub in the vehicle but removed the sub when he sold it.

The original issue was that whenever I went to engage the emergency brake, it would blow the power circuit that powers the alarm, the radio and the remaining gas mileage sensor. To fix this, I would have to replace the red 10 circuit breaker. So because this was happening, I just never used my emergency break.

Yesterday, I was driving normally in a parking lot. I had the radio going and then went over a speed bump and somehow blew the exact same circuit. I popped the hood and checked the circuit area. Normally when I blow this circuit, the red 10 breaker would be popped up and easy to pull out to replace. This time, it wasn't popped up.

So now, I don't know what I should be doing. Last time I went to the dealership to discuss finding out why engaging the emergency brake would blow this circuit, they said they would have to charge me hundreds of dollars for an investigation fee. I'm definitely not in the mood to pay hundreds of dollars here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
