    2001 crv clock issue

Okay, I think I've read all the posts on clock issues, but I haven't been able to find one that tells me how to remove my clock so I can get the wires re-soldered. If I use a butter knife, flat-head screwdriver or what? Also, if I get it out, is it attached to the hazard switch which is working fine right now which I don't want to mess it up for the sake of a clock.
    Thanks for any ideas.

I used a wide putty knife. It works best. Do not use butter knife or screwdriver because the dash is made of deforming plastic. If you use anything big it will deform the dash. Just slide the putty knife and gently and patiently undo the clips. Take your time. Some clips will fall behind the clock, but just get new ones.
