1998 CRV leaking clutch master cylinder

my 98 crv is leaking fluid from the clutch master cylinder into the passenger cabin. I'm plenty mechanically inclined to replace it myself

    my question is this.

has anyone installed an aftermaket one from ebay or any of the random parts sellers online?? How was the build quality and did you get any leaks? don't wanna have any issues a few years from now

is the clutch master cylinder rebuildable?? does anyone sell seal kits??

or should i just buy an original one from honda for 90$

I dont think its necessary to go to Honda, and it isn,t worth trying to rebuild it.Im sure there are "kits" out there. You would also need to get a small hone to do it properly.Even at that, you are still taking a chance on the same thing happening a short drive down the road.
Just get a NEW one(NOT reman) and purchase it from a reputable parts store such as NAPA,O-Reiley,s etc. Personally I would stay clear of Autozone....Cheers

Pay the extra and get the Honda part. Some parts i would say go ahead and get the aftermarket but the clucth master is one i have seen issues with aftermarket.
