    Fixed!

Only posting this as it may well help someone else out. Please see earlier thread for all details but basically, fault code P0341. Tried everything, except OIL CONTROL VALVE/SOLENOID. Removed, cleaned, refitted. Car runs perfectly. My faith in Honda restored. I couldn't really believe a camchain problem, even on an abused car like mine. Phew!

Thanks for posting the solution to your problem. What led you to believe that it might be the oil control valve/solenoid?

Hadn't touched it for a week. Peered into engine bay this morning, thought, I've not fiddled with that yet, and hey, presto! As well as reinforcing my faith in Honda mechanicals, it also reminds me that we should also pay careful heed to Mr Sod and his famous law............;-).
And just for info, one CAN unplug the front of the two cam sensors while car is idling and it makes NO difference. ..??!
