2007 A/C Compressor Clutch Warranty

I just got a notice from Honda saying the warranty on the compressor clutch was extended. Is says problems could be AC performance is poor, blowing air that is not very cold. My AC has done that for a long time. When I accelerate, the AC cuts out. You can really feel it in an Arizona summer. I was told this is software and designed to do this. Could I really have a clutch that is cutting out. If so, that would be great. I have not see people posting for clutch issues. Let us know if you have had an issue.

You said it your self, "My AC has done that for a long time" (Honda says problems could be AC performance is poor, blowing air that is not very cold) Take the car and the notice to your dealer and if they don't/won't fix it go to Corporate Honda. The air should be uncomfortably cold where it comes out of the vent. I'm sure that in Arizona that it won't remain that way by the time it reaches you but it should be cold where it vents.
