Bought a previously owned 99 CRV ex, manual tansmission 4wd .Really like this vehicle,utilitarian and fun to drive.
I recently had check engine light come on .I have a OBD2 scan tool and plugged it into the OBD receptacle in the vehicle behind the right side of the center console. I turned on the ignition, the OBD11 scan tool recognized it was hooked to the vehicle but could not connect. I read in factory manual that a data link connector is needed to plug into the vehicle and then it plugs into the OBD2 scan tool .
One didnt come with the vihicle as it was used. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to find one or...?
