Laundry list of problems on recently purchsed 2007

Hi Guys,
I purchased my 2007 CR-V 65k miles, just over a month ago from a Honda dealership I am taking it in tomorrow to have the extra keys cut and have some issues looked at and I thought I would run the symptoms by crvoc to see what additional info I can get bfore I go in there, issues are as follows in order of perceived severity.
1) Occasionally turning the key in the ignition does nothing, turn the key back and then forward again and it turns over.

2) Steering is choppy in reverse while turning. Suspect the rear differential. Fluid was supposedly changed approx. 20k miles after suggested mileage according to service records.

3) Burning smell towards the rear of the vehicle after operation, reminds me of a burning clutch smell.

4) Digital dash display began blinking sporadically not the whole thing just certain areas of it, this began today and continued after the car was turned off and on again.

5) Radiator fan seems to run excessively while ideling, roughly every 30-40 seconds for 15-20 seconds.

6) A/C seems weak. I have not been able to confirm the quality of the A/C being that its winter here in the Northeast.

Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated.

1. No cure for that that I know of, I think it has to be replaced.

2) Steering is choppy in reverse while turning. Suspect the rear differential. Fluid was supposedly changed approx. 20k miles after suggested mileage according to service records.

3) Burning smell towards the rear of the vehicle after operation, reminds me of a burning clutch smell.

3. Brake pad and clutch pad are similar.This can be a brake stuck and dragging (put your hand to the hub to check for abnormal heating after a drive/when you smell it.) The brakes must be serviced at least once per year to lube the sliders etc.
It can be rubber from the tire which is close to the exhaust on the passenger side, burning off.
It could be a dragging emerg. brake too.

4) Digital dash display began blinking sporadically not the whole thing just certain areas of it, this began today and continued after the car was turned off and on again.

4. Loose connector and it may be overheating. They are hard to trace so this may be one for a dealer.

5) Radiator fan seems to run excessively while idling, roughly every 30-40 seconds for 15-20 seconds.

5. That seems excessive if it is winter where you are. I don't think mine comes on at all in the winter.

6) A/C seems weak. I have not been able to confirm the quality of the A/C being that its winter here in the Northeast.

6. If it defrosts quickly the AC is likely OK. Summer will tell or have it tested.

Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated.

They have it in right now looking at it. I have a feeling their going to try and steam roll me to lessen their financial burden. Having this info will definitely help me discuss the issues intelligently (as intelligent as possible for me). Thanks again.

Your more than welcome. Don't let them get away with it. I would bet my only car that they were aware of most if not all of the problems before they sold it.

With that list of troubles on a recently-purchased Honda with only 65K miles, I'd want to rule out a history of heavy crash damage, flooding or odo roll-back (not very common these days).
