fuel cap check come and go often.

2007 lx 2WD crv 120k , fuel cap check come and go.
i replaced the fuel cap bought from autozone and its not make any different so i know is not the fuel cap.

driving 4 hrs non stop maybe 3 or 4 time shown fuel cap warning its just come and go.
always click the cap at more than 3 and i know is tight.

never check it at dealer so far, anyone have similar issue thanks.

Genuine Honda cap & don't click it more than once. Too tight causes same problem. Also, don't squeeze in that last drop, overfill is not good either. You have to remove the cap completely when you get an alarm and then replace it and click it tight once. It could take 10 trips before it resets.

the check cap warning it will gone it self in about 30 min or so. and will keep coming back after.
i wonder if i have other issue more than just the cap.

i have read other post and seems like the warning stay on, in my case is come and go.

i think is not a big deal as long as check engine light does not on but it just annoying to see it on cluster.
