    Traction Control Off/On Button

Have a less than 2 week LX 4WD. It is my wifes CR-V but I have driven it a few times. Personally I can't stand traction control and would prefer it to be off. When I drove it the first time last weekend I could turn it off, even had the light on the dash show it was off. Yesterday and today the TC wouldn't turn off, no light on the dash.

Does this mean it is broken? Obviously will bring to the dealer for them to check it out, but wanted to know what could possibly be wrong. It is on/active and can't be disabled/turned off as i have tested it out and know it is on.

    Thanks.

Do you keep the VSA button pushed for a few seconds?

The only time the car will prevent you to turn VSA off is if you have low pressure on one tire reported by the TPMS.

I thought I was holding it for a few seconds. The TPMS is not reporting anything. I will try it again later today.

Hold it for a few seconds Larry and wait for the beep to let you know its off. My Acoord works this way...The CRV should be the same.
