    Interior Clock Doesn't Work

I have a '98 EX Auto with about 155K miles on it. Occasionally when I start the car the OEM clock will not come on. It will light up a few minutes later and work fine for the rest of the drive. Sometimes I start the car and it's working just fine. The clock doesn't reset, it just doesn't come on (screen is totally blank and then out of nowhere it just pops back on like nothing happened). Any ideas what's up? My car does have an aftermarket stereo and did have an alarm system (that was removed by the previous owner), could they have had something to do with it? I've had my CRV for over a year now and this has just started in the last few days. Thanks.

This is a known problem... They were poorly soldered... U can remove the clock and solder it yourself there are plenty of how tos with step by step and pictures...that's wat I did... If not get one from a junkyard or get a place to fix the soldered contacts

I've been working on R/Cs for years, so I'm good with soldering small stuff. Thanks for the reply, I'll get on it when I've got a free weekend.
