4th Gen (2012+) Glove Box light (mod ideas)

OK, so Honda is not putting lights in our glove compartments. They do on other models, namely older ones...

Anyhow, the Civic forums have an interesting thread HERE explaining how to retrofit an Insight glovebox light switch/bulb unit into their Civics. All for $25 or so. Im game. Problem is, we don't have a pre-existing spot in the glovebox to screw this thing onto. (the Civic does).

I looked closely last night and cannot figure out a way to properly mount the switch (before I commit to the project).

Anyone have ideas?
