gen 3 fog lights

Hello,

I just bought an oem fog light kit for my 08 crv. How can I make them light up on park lights, low and high beams? If I follow the instruction that came with the kit, the lights can only be turned on with low beams.

Why? You need fog lights to park? Worst thing you can do is use high beams in fog. Or do you want to use your fogs only because you like it?

My 2nd Gen (2006 SE) is set up so the fog lights only turn on when the low beams are on PLUS you press the foglights switch. I thought it was odd at first, but @miko has a good point...fog lights are supposed to be used when the weather is bad and you want to SEE the edges of the road.

If you wanted to have them turn on independently, you will have to connect them to a relay with a separate on/off switch. It isn't difficult, just run the power to the switch and have the switch connected to the lights, so that when the key is on, you can turn them on/off whenever you want.
