Attachment 7580
With low beam on. HID
I'd like to get a hard line answer on where people are getting these from. I'd also like to know if the "JDM" model is left hand or right hand drive. If it's a right hand drive...... there's gonna be some big problems.
^ all depends on where the headlights came from.
If Japan, RHD. If mainland China, RHD. If Taiwan, LHD.
Similar story if it's EDM lights.
It's not that big of a problem because some simple alterations and it'll be LHD like the people in North America need it to me.

for everyone asking for the cutoff picture, this was taken at 10 feet. the step is about 1" tall. at 25 feet the step is almost 3" tall. when aiming my headlights, the tall side of the cutoff was the determining factor and the overall angle of the light is pointed down so as to not blind oncoming traffic. i get slightly better than stock distance at its current setting with a very even distribution and more lumens on the ground of course. if i didn't tell you it was a RHD cutoff pattern, you wouldn't be able to tell until i pulled directly behind someone at a light and you could see the pattern on their trunk. the bulbs and ballasts i used are chinese d4 35w 4300k hid bulbs off of ebay and standard chinese 35w ballasts. i didn't want 55w bulbs because of fear of damaging the reflector bowls.
sorry about the quality of my camera phone pic. i just turned on the headlights and they were still warming up so there's the slight blue hue in the pic on the driver side. the cutoff is also wider than how it appears in the pic. also, the picture is slightly angled, so the cutoff may appear higher on the driver side and slanted down towards the passenger side, but it's actually completely level. if i were able to post a wider picture, you would see that the sharp cutoff of the halogen corner lights (that you can see just the beginning of in the picture) distributes light on both sides out to 180 degrees. the cutoff of these halogen corner lights are not adjustable and are pointed slightly lower than the hid cutoff. i can see pedestrians and bikers in areas that would normally be pitch black.
hope this helps answer some of your questions.
