pulling drl fuse

i m wanting to pull the daytime running light fuse.

where is the fuse/relay located?

2012 EX-L model is what i have.

help?

please no one lecture me on their value, etc...

i work in public safety and am very aware of the benefits of lights in different situations.

I just pulled the fuse on our '11 CR-V.
I added some high power bulbs for better light output at night and wanted the same bulb to not be on with the DRL's.Maybe adding more life span to those bulbs.

The fuse in a '11 is #37.
# 21 in a '12 according to this '12 online manual.Page 358.

i think i am going to pull the rear wiper fuse too.

imo 99 times out of a 100 the rear wiper is worthless

Please explain why you want to shut off the DRLs? I see this type of posting many times on other forums and can't figure out why someone would want to to this.

UPDATE

pulled fuse #21, DRL's are disabled.

Fuse #23 controls ALL [front too] wiper functions.

i guess i still get the pleasure of the rear wiper.

I pulled my drl fuse because I put in hids and the drl light was on so I wired my fogs to be on with the lights off to be on the safe side

To the right of the steering wheel is a switch that controls your rear wiper. You can leave it turned off.

Hey PNutts, did you know that the rear wiper comes on when you put the car in reverse if the front wipers are on even when the rear switch is off.
