    Battery Charger Problem

This isn't really a CR-V issue but I sure would appreciate some advice. I just got done charging a car battery on my small trickle charger (for a 1995 Volvo). I noticed that it didn't make a quiet crackling sound when I disconnected it so I looked at the 6v-12v rocker switch and realized that it had gone to 6v because I set it down on the side that had the switch. Is there a chance I could have damaged the battery or (hopefully) is it more likely that the battery simply didn't receive a proper charge and will be fine when I do charge it right? Thanks in advance for your advice.

it probably was not good for it, but try charging it again. You got nothing to lose, let us know if it works out.

Good point. You're right, I have nothing to lose. Luckily the battery is older so I guess the worse that could happen is that it's ruined. Thanks

It will make no harm to the battery when charger set to 6v, just set it to 12v and charge your battery.
