Which distributor to buy?

Hi guys,
Just picked up another CRV
99 EX with Auto transmission, 4WD, 104,978 miles. Good thing it's not due a timing belt

Before going to look at it I was told the MIL was on for a TDC Sensor code. Turned out to be P1362. The owner didn't want to put money in it since Honda was quoting over 1K to fix.

The car was in great condition. No clear coat peel, flawless interior, new tires and battery.

They agreed to lower the price of the car by half of Honda's estimate for an ECM.

Drove it home, had infinite resistance (Open) across the TDC sensor. Other two were around 450.

So it looks like it needs a distro. Coming up with either TD74U or TD97U. Thinking TD74U is correct for a US delivered model but just wanted to verify before ordering. Where is it marked on the distro.


And yes I'll be doing the TB, WP, Wires, plugs, valve adjustment, and fluids front to rear before putting it in use.

Well I went an looked again and found the part number stamped in the base it is a TD74U
