    CR-V Strut Leak?

It's a 2005 CR-V. This morning found a small puddle of fluid inside right front tire. I wiped it up and it looked like brake fluid (pale yellow to clear). Brake fluid level OK so when I pulled off the wheel, it appears to be coming from the two openings in the conical disc where the bottom of the coil spring seats. After pulling the boot up nothing is coming from the top of the cylinder. Anybody had this problem before? Is that assembly all one piece?

My car (2003) failed an MOT due to one of the rear struts leaking (done approx 70,000 miles), you can get the strut on its own from the dealer and is quite easy to change ONCE you managed to loosen the main lower nut.

Ministry of Transport (UK). I would guess that he is referring to an inspection.

Thats it. Here in the UK all our vehicles (over 3 years old) require annual testing to ensure they conform to a set list of safety requirements. It is ilegal to drive without a valid MOT, and makes your insurance invalid.
