Anyone try mounting an iPad in their CR-V? If so, would you mind posting a few photos?

That's pretty cool.
I live in it ... cargo organizer in the rear full of giveaways (cups, pens, etc.), file organizer on the floorboard behind the passenger's front seat full of literature, desk in the passenger's seat to write on AND hold certain paperwork/forms, iPhone charger, etc. I drive about 2,000 miles per month and make about 100 customer visits in that time frame. I have to be organized, that or lost. The CR-V is the ultimate vehicle for a territory manager doing site visits. Good fuel economy, good visibility, easy to park/manuever, comfortable, fully equipped, safe and reliable. I love Honda engineering!

I'm planning a cross country trip. Here's what I just ordered for my 2006 CR-V SE:

I was looking at something similar. I have a Garmin GPS, but my wife really misses the built-in Navi from our Accord (especially the larger screen size), so I too was considering a RAM mount and a Dual GPS. Please post a few photos when you get the system installed and setup. Thanks Don.
I just sent RAM an email to find out if the same floor mount will work on a 2012 CR-V. I'll let everyone know what they say.

Ram-Mount is a modular system, they've got mounts for almost every car/boat/plane/bike.They've got the same goal as Pro-Clip...make it modular, make it removable so there is no trace if you remove from the car (ie: upgrading to a new car), and so you can always just buy a new base for the car and re-use all the other parts.
iPad using Dual XGPS150A (make sure you get the "A" version as it has a *much*improved* 12/30v adapter!) is to die for!!!
PS, the police, FBI, etc., all use Ram-Mount....

Yes, I use an Otterbox Defender case for the iPad HD, so that particular cradle was needed:
