Syncing 12' CRV with Galaxy S3

Not sure if I'm posting in the right forum.

New owner here. Trying to get the text message feature to work in the car. I got the Bluetooth to sync with my Galaxy S3, the dialing and receiving works. But I can't get the text message notifications to work.

Can anyone help me? I tried doing a search and the results I found are for iPhones and blackberrys.

Watching this one with interest as I'm shopping for a new set of wheels right now and I have the same phone. I'm guessing Android isn't supported for some reason.

The text feature does not work for a boat load of phones out there. FWIW; I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The text feature did NOT work on my phone/CR-V until I installed CM10 on my phone. Now, it works fine. I was using a Stock rooted 4.1 version prior to moving to Cyanogen Mod 10.

More than likely; The S3 will NOT be on the list.
