Unhappy have 2004 CRV.. does anyone know how to reset radio?

My battery died and I got a jump, well, when the car started the radio wouldn't come on. Got code message and then an err message.
Does anyone know why or what this means?
Also, is there a way to reset it? I can't find my owners manual anywhere either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I miss my music terribly!
    Thanks,
    Myriam

You have to take your ownership and serial number from the back of the radio to the dealership. They will look up the code for you, so that you can unlock the radio. By cutting the power to the unit, it has gone into anti-theft mode.

I had to do this with my radio, and the dealer was more than willing to help, provided I had already removed the radio and written down the serial number on the back of it.

    Good luck!

I didn't need the serial or anything, I just took it to the dealer, he sat in the seat, looked at something, and it told him the serial when inputted a button sequence, and then put the code in. 5 minutes. Done. Since then I have an aftermarket radio, so the anti-theft doesn't apply anymore.

Dealer's not going to charge you, but i have no idea how to do it myself besides taking the radio out and looking at the back, or take it to an audio shop and they can probably reset it for you usually.
