2012 CRV Aftermarket Accessories

What aftermarket accessories are you planning to install/have installed on your 2012 V?

If you have, can you post a pic and maybe a link to where you got the part?

Since I don't have my V yet, i'm just in the planning stages. I would like to get some Romik running boards if they ever release. Maybe even a bullbar if they can match the contours of the raised lip. Hoping they come up with a skid plate, but a bullbar may do.

I don't like the optional bug shield that Honda offers, so might look into an aftermarket one. I haven't been able to find any pics of any deflectors installed though.

Maybe it's too early to be expecting anything?

If you go to the Romik website the bull bar, sidesteps, and maxbars are listed to fit all CR-V 2007-2011 but if you click to buy online direct from Romik they list all CR-V 2007-2012 so maybe give them a call to confirm fitment.

I see that now, have emailed them and awaiting their response. Maybe they do share the same underbody? I chatted with autoanything.com about it, and they said the stock numbers are the same, and gave me the return policy. I don't really want to go through that hassle if the listing was a mistake on romik's part.

I would think the online store is correct and the main listing just wasn't updated yet for the 2012 but yes, you are better off verifying the fitment before buying to save the hassle of returning it. When Romik gets back to you please post their reply here. I have the Romik side bars and bull bar on my 2010 and would also like to know if they really fit as I am contempating upgrading to the 2012 if I can make the right deal. I probably have to wait at least a month or more for supply to catch up with the demand to get a sweet deal but I am in no rush.

Just ordered an aftermarket trailer hitch online at www.hitchweb.com. They just released a trailer hitch part number 87621 built specifically and only for the 2012 CR-V. I'll upload a picture soon but it fit perfectly on my CR-V, i was able to install it easily myself and it took less than an hour. Would like to add some roof rails & crossbars. Found some on Amazon, but the pair costs about $500 and I'm not sure it will fit. Does anyone know if there is any that are easy to install?

Well they never did reply to any of my inquiries, but it looks like they now carry the bull bar and running boards. They don't share the same part number, so I don't think the side steps and bull bar for the previous model will fit.
