Side molding on 2012 CR-V?

Put the OEM moldings on the other day. Piece of cake. I like the way it breaks up the rather slab-sided 2012. Surprised they're not standard; even my bare-bones '06 LX 2WD model came with side moldings.

Totally agree on all counts. I think Honda's just trying to cut corners where they can, and if they can make a few extra dollars by marking up what should be standard (like it was on my '96 Civic, for crying out loud), then that's what they'll do. If my dealer ever gets it head out of its a$$ with my accessories, I'll have them put on mine too - they really do make it look even better.

I finally got up the nerve to install my body side moldings today. You guys were right. It was super easy. Not only will this help protect your CR-V, it looks good too.

Please guys post some pics of your V with the Honda OEM molding. Extra points if your car is Silver!

I added side molding, but it is aftermarket not Honda.
