    Clear Bra?

I'm considering having a clear bra installed on my 2012 Honda CR-V. I just received a quote of $625, which includes 3M film and installation for the hood, fenders, mirrors, and bumper. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of installers in my area. For those of you who have had this done, how does this price compare to your install?

    Thanks!

That is a good price for 3M Scotchgard material. Make sure your get the front fenders and hood wrapped.

Yeah, that price sounded pretty good to me as well. I'll probably go with it since I had a similar product on my 2006 Accord and it worked great.

I have the 3M clear bra on my 2012 CR-V and best investment so far. Based on that price, it's a good price. I also happened to get headlights, foglights and the area on the roof between the top of the windshield and front of the sunroof protected with the 3M.

How far up the hood did you go?

I think it's bit less than half-way up the hood. I'll try to take some photos with my iPhone and post them.

I have a clear bra on my S2000. I love it, when I drive up to the Tail of the Dragon I don't have to look rediculous with a bunch of blue tape on the front! The price seems right in line with the market.

My dealer quoted $299 just for the hood. I was considering a "do it yourself" method, which they state is pretty easy todo. I don't know if we can post websites here, so Google "invisible mask" for the company's website.

By the way, this is my first CR-V (2012 EX-L) - I've had it 5 days now and love it so far.

I tried taking some pictures but can't really see the clear bra on my white V. I'll try to take pictures of other angles and different times of the day. Hopefully it will somewhat show for illustration purposes!
