CRV owners: What 'accessories & add ons' do you recommend I get?

Ok y'all.....looks like I'll be the owner of a 2013 Honda CRV EX-L next week. It's going to be right of the truck, so can you PLEASE advise me on what accessories and/or add ons I should get (you know like any special kind of mats, spoilers, trim or what ever that doesn't come on r with the car already).

This will be my very first CRV, I have a 2003 Lexus RX 300. I do a ton of around the city driving and I'm so looking forward to the much better gas mileage.

Thanks fir any suggestions you can give

    I'd recommend
    splash guards
    side moldings
    dark tint in front
    all season mats from weathertech

Not necessary, but if money is no issue
    spoiler
    running boards
    door visors
    hood deflector
    exhaust tip

also, most of these things can be bought online and installed yourself instead of going to the dealer to save a lot money

Mats: http://www.weathertech.com/ The Digital fit ones!!! They are a tad pricey, but they fit like a glove and they just yell out QUALITY!!!! I have them in the front, the back seating area and in the cargo area!!! Top notch

Body molding!! Gives it a nice look AND protects ur sides from those nasty dings one get sin the car lot----hits the molding and not the CRV! http://www.bernardiparts.com/08P05-T0A-XXX.aspx VERY EASY to do yourself!! Comes with templates! I mean its super duper easy, yet ur local Honda dealership it want big $$$ to install them!! CAn even find videos on Youtube on how to do it!! College Honda is another good source for accessories--and quite often they have do it urself videos!!

As well what i do with a brand spanking new vehicle---take it home and apply 3M scotchguard to anything that fabric! My seats are leather--so only was the floor!! I put on 2 light coats!! Keep in mind, can't be to cold outside! There is 3M scotchguard for vehicles--no clue if its any different than the regular scotchguard--other than its a bit more $$$$!! I think 1 can does the trick--might have been 1.5 cans to apply 2 light coats!! My 2011's fabric still looks new!! Wisdh I could say the outside does---but thats the problem with living in Nicaragua, lol.

So my big suggestions: Scotchguard anything fabric, weather tech digital fit matts, and Side Moldings!

Take a look at Weathertech Digital Fit floor mats. Can't get any better.

I always get 3M on the front of my hood. Usually 12 inches generally.

Get splash guards unless yours comes with them.

Side moldings are a help depending where you park.

Body side moldings, splash guards and trunk mat are must haves in my book ... especially the side moldings.
All weather mats, depending on your environment.
Cargo organizer, depending on your shopping/storage habits.
Wheel locks, depending on crime in your area.
Roof rack and attachments, depending on your sporting needs.
Tailpipe finishers and other bling, depending on your style needs.
Back seat protector, depending on your animal/kid transport needs.
Trailer hitch, depending on your towing needs.

It all varies by individual, that's why they offer so many different possibilities.

I second the splash guards and wheel locks---I forgot to mention those---as they "threw" them in on my CRV

    Definitely get the following:
    wheel locks
    all weather mats
    splash guards
    hood deflector
    cargo tray

I didn't get the side moldings as it seems to take away from the clean look of the doors.

    When I purchased my 2012 V, I got:

    -WeatherTech Digital Fit Floor Liners
    -OEM Honda Cargo Tray
    -OEM Honda Door Visors
    -OEM Honda Locking Wheel Nuts
-3M Clear Bra (Hood, Bumper, Fenders, Mirrors and Roof)
-Tints (20% on all windows except front windshield)
    -HID bulbs (headlights and foglights)
-LED bulbs (interior, license plate and reverse)

    Accessories I'm considering:
    -OEM Honda Body Side Moldings
-Either OEM Honda Trailer Hitch or OEM Honda Roof Rack

But in the end, choose the accessories you like to see in/on your vehicle and what suits your personality/needs.
