    2013 LX AWD - 18" or 19"

Preparing a purchase of a 2013 LX AWD, it will be delivered with 16" Steel rims (worth nothing but winter use if even that). I want to fill the wheel wells with rim/tyre but do not want any rubbing.

a - What is the recommended 19" offset and tyre combination.

b - What is the recommended 18" offset and tyre combination.

It doesn't seem like alot of people here are running these, or at least have not posted it.

The 2012 concept came out with 19" and I think it looks great.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Buy a EX 4WD!!!

The 16 inch Steel wheels look silly and thats the reason I haven't bought a 2013 LX 4WD as well as a 1000 or more CRV LX 4WD owners that don't own the 2012 or 2013 CRV LX. I still have my 2011 CRV LX with the 17 inch steel wheels. The new CRV LX with 16 inch Rims look stupid and cheap. Also no passengers side armrest. Did they forget to put it in the design. That's like buying a chair with no right side arm rest. How stupid of Honda!!!!!

An EX still doesn't have enough wheel IMO. Anyone else?

My CR-V will be collected in a few weeks time, and I have ordered a set of 19inch wheels to go with it.
The wheels I chose are 8.5 width rims at +35offset, and going with 235/55/19 tyres. I did the math, and it should be about 20mm sticking out from the original 17s, and it should flush well.

Once I put them up, I will post a picture.

Ideally, the offset should be between +38 to+50, and rim width of 7-8 with 225-235 width tyres for zero complications

I have contemplated 20s and 22s as well. But as this is a family mover, the 20s and 22s will be harsher a ride.
