2008 Honda CRV Projector lens/eagle eyes

Its been a while since I posted stuff on this forum. Recently on of my HID bulbs started acting up, started looking at some headlights with projector lenses. Ebay sells some for a fair price. They also come with those nice eagle eyes (Halos) which improve safety and better looks for the car. I went and purchased it. I was expecting better on the quality. When they shipped it out they broke one of the plastic pieces that hold the headlight. Theyll replace it but it takes time again so I just went and used a solder gun and melted the plastic back together, stronger then what the other one is. The healights look very clear. I was worried I had to buy all the bulbs again, but they were already included in the purchase. Would I buy it again? Yes but id be really careful when I open the box and inspect every little part of the headlight before starting to install it. Check all the wiring and such. But anyways, After 2 daysof placing the order, last Saturday, Huge box at my front door and there they are.

After opening, checked out the wiring, seemed confusing. But now I know and Ill try to explain for others that are looking to get these.
First what you wanna do is unplug the gray plug sitting on the side of the headlight and slide it out. There should be enough slack for it to extend a little.

Pull the black shield off, then pull the red plastic out, its just another plug. Careful not to break them.

Once they are out, flip it 180 degrees and install it back in. For some reason they tend to make this the opposite way. This is where the parking lights will plug. After done, plug in and test to make sure the lights work.
Plug in the H4 connector from stock harness and again check if both low and high beam work.

Next youll see a black and green wire going down the headlight with a black flat plug. This is what threw me off the most. This is the turn signal wiring. What you need to do is reach behind the OEM headlight and rotate and pull out the turn signal assembly piece so it comes out with the whole plastic adapter (T20 I believe). Unplug the bulb and plug in the black connector.

*Gray is from the car wiring for the turn signal. Middle white piece is that adapter you pull out with the light bulb. Black is the new turn signal connector.
Test and see that turn signal work. After confirming all lights work, you can start the fun to install them in the car. So far I just explained what wire and plug is for which.
    1.
Remove the plastic cover hiding the radiator. There couple tabs that you snap off. Dont loose and dont break them.

    2. Remove the plastic cover from both left and right side next to the fender. Under here is a bolt that holds the headlight in. Just slowly pull the plastc and it will pop off.
    3. Follow the link below on how to remove the bumper. After its off, put in a secure place so it wont get scratched.

    4. Locate the 4 bolts holding the headlight. There are two you can reach from the top, one is from the side and then on more from the front. Unscrew them with a 10mm. Put them in a container so you dont loose them. Also try to keep track which one is from where.
    5. There are couple cable ties holding the wires on the headlight, cut them off. Slowly pull the headlight out and unplug any remaining connectors.
    6. On the headlight, there's another bolt holding the bracket for the bumper. Take it off along with the bracket.
    7. Grab the new headlight and mount the bracket back to its place.
    8. Plug the parking light connector in. Its much easier to plug it now then when the light is put in.
    9. Guide the headlight back in place and start with the bolt on the top near the fender then work your way down.
    10. After the headlight is in place and secure, plug the remaining connectors to their place. (H4 and turn signal)
    11. Test to make sure again all lights work
    12. Grab some new cable ties and tie the wires as they were before in the designed holes.
Follow same directions for the other headlight. Then put the bumper back on, radiator cover and the two plastic covers on the sides. Clean up the area, step and enjoy the new look

Now Im waiting on my 6000k HID kit to come and I will install the HID kit in these and see how they work. Tonight was raining and went out and cant say much. The lights were also angled way high so again I cant make a statement and how much brighter they are. There is a nice crisp line and im hoping for a great light output. I will keep you guys updated!

they're junk! The night it was raining and they fogged up. Next day it was sunny and car was outside. Got foggy again. Projector lens are bad. My OEM Halogen bulbs gave better light output then these headlights. There is a crisp cut but it looks like all the light is focused toward the cut, the road is barely lit. The material quality is bad too. As I said, out of the box, one of the plastics that hold the headlights when its mounted was broken. Then I noticed some chrome from inside broken. They are mainly for the looks, dont expect good light output. This was my experience with these, just stay away from these. I returned mine and getting a refund but shipping was on me.

Stay away from them! Spend $40 extra and buy morimoto mini projectors with high quality hid kit and you'll be satisfied! That's what I did
