My brother and me have just spent the weekend putting a new head gasket on my crv. everything has been lined up as we believe it should be and everything we took off has gone back the same way but it wont start. It has a good spark and compression but it is as if there isnt sufficient fuel getting into the chambers. Is there something iwe are missing like a reset button or something?...can anybody help
There is a fuel cut-off button
Look in the passenger side footwell behind the centre console
about halfway up, it has a rubber top you press that, if it has cut the fuel off it will make an audible click when you press it, if it doesn't click then it hasn't activated
Funnily enough when I changed my aircon cabin filter I managed to activate the cut off somehow
I cannot see a fuel cut off switch, maybe its because i have a japanese import. Because i have a 1996 model i cannot get a haynes manual. Something is stillnot timed up right. Do you know how to time the crankshaft with the camshaft?
