How do I know which model I have?

    Hi,

New to the forum as well as new to CR-Vs, I don't see the letters "EX" or "LX" anywhere on this thing so how do I tell what model I have? Thanks.

You have an SE. From the looks of your avatar, you have a 1999 CRV SE.

If i recall correctly for 99 the US only had LX and EX.

If they 8th digit of your VIN is a 4 you have a LX. If it is a 6 you have an EX.

I just guessed when I picked from the list of available models. Since I knew it couldn't be an EX or LX, I didn't choose either of those models.

lizzurd Your correct, the SE is only 2000 and 2001. But if you read his avatar, he says he has a 1999 SE.

fryerdiesel: if you check here, this will give you the spec on all the models. And actually with you having a 99, it could only be a LX or an EX.

    Thumbs up

OK, well reading from left to right the 8th digit is a 6 so I guess I have an EX then. Thanks for your help guys (...and thanks for being patient with a newbie!).
