Picked this up off craigs list as a daily wile I finish my 700hp civic build.
It was suppoest to stay stock. But I can't leave anything alone.
Comments and suggestions welcome!

The fist day I got it

Tinted it on day two 20% all around

A week later I ordered a westin bull bar, piaa fogs, 6k hid kit, avs bug guard and vent visors.

I had plans to lower it and do larger wheels but after driving in the snow and sliding off the road with the summer tires that came on the vehicle I decided to make this a little more snow capable. Besides I have a slammed big turbo civic. Ordered ome 2" lift kit, 5 black rock simulated bead lock wheels and some 235-75-15 kuhmo at tires. Unfortunately the springs took 2 months to get so I put the wheels and tires on in the meantime. ( yes they rubbed )

The paint was pretty beat and my body guy owed me money and a few favors so I decided to have him spray tint my tail lights fix the body work and paint it matte black. I never liked the full plastic bumpers so I had him paint the tops and I LOVE how it came out!

Got bored at work one day and decided to make a grille for it.
It came out pretty well but I think I'm going to re do it with a smaller mesh material and paint it gloss black instead of flat

The lift springs went on last night and as soon as I get motivated I'm going to go outside and take some pics!!

Haven't done any performance mods. I plan on putting my extra b16 head on this after my civic is finished and do intake header and exhaust. Or maybe jrsc. I really liked the setup i had on my type r swapped 4 door. But as far as the mods that are done i have already listed everything.
Hope I answered your questions :)

Anyone think black housing headlights would look good? I think it would Complete the murdered out look...

Don’t do the headlights in my opinion. Right now it looks bad ass and off road capable. If you black out the head lights it will start to look too much, that’s just my 2 cents.

Looks absolutely awesome right now!

Two questions:

1)What was the part number on the Westin bar, and was it a bolt on?
2)With that bush bar, could you still mount the OEM skid plate?

Thanks!

I did a little hunting and answered my own questions.

Looks like everything I could find says the Skid plate has to be cut to work with this bar. Part number looks to be 30-0005 on westins site.

Again, that ride looks awesome!

Haha thanks!
I might get my buddy to fab up a skid plate for me.. I'd like to do a roof rack with a basket but not sure How it's going to look. I'll NEVER put anything up there so it will be kind of pointless and I think it's going to make it look like an "elephant chaser"

yes the Westin bull bar was bolt on. And very easy to install.

Thanks for the comments!

Wow, I just came across this thread and I am glad I did. That is one gorgeous V!! Absolutely love it! I am new to the CRV's, is there anywhere I can find a tutorial on the grill mod or could you share how you did it?

thanks!

Hey Man, I love the V. I dont think you should do the black lights. But I would say that your wiper arms could use some love. Paint them up and I feel like your V would be almost done.

On the note about a roof rack, I say do it. It completes the off road look IMO. Great build. Where did you order your OME springs from?

Great work on your crv!! It looks mean! I am in the process of saving up enough money to get the ome springs. I can't wait to get them. Right now I have the factory crossbars with a yakima load warrior cargo basket on top of it. I'll post a couple pics of it so you can see what it would look like.

Great job with the V!! I love the mean look!
Ive been trying to lift my crv myself, but idk what size of tires and wheels i should use, i was wondering what size were yours? and who makes the wheels you got? I hope you can help me!
Good luck

Hi, I'm newbie here :)

I love what you did to your V, and i'm planning to do the same.
When you change the springs to lift your V, do we need to adjust any other things?
I read somewhere that you are supposed to change you shocks and also adjust your camber alignment.
what do you think?
