Another New Newbie from Malaysia!

Hi we just had our new CRV end of September 2010, silver and service the 1st 1000km last week. Agreed with the additional of brake and steering lock would add the extra security, mine is Solex.
Honda Malaysia should consider the rearview camera and LCD screen would benefit CRV owners, and now we have to look at the accessories outlet for consideration. Mitsubshi Pagero Sports have that as original on the audio set.

In Malaysia, the thiefs found out about this area behind the right rear door when you puncture a hole at the right point, it will disengage the immobilizer, alarm etc.. its freaking me out, but i try not to go to places where car thieves happen regularly (some popular malls in the south)..

Before I got the CRV, i thought about putting a rearview cam, but parking this big beauty seems easier than i thought!

In Msia, CRV owners are usually middle-aged, married men.. being a 20 yo, the sleeker 2010 CRV seems too nice and innocent :P

So apart from installing the side-steps, wind-deflector and spoiler, i recently changed the long 1Line rear plate to a square, two line template with a slight angular and modern font, i also added the under-body steel protective plates (rear and front).

The plates actually makes the CRV looks wider and taller, being Crystal Black, the silver plates add contrast and accents to the car.. im in love with it!
Its quite rare to see CRV with these plates, although many would prefer adding skirtings than metal plates as it costs the same!

Im in the process of debating whether to change the spoiler to the slightly wider 2010 Mugen, but i just had the spoiler installed during the ordering process and it may be a waste during this moment. I also want to either change or re-colour the rims, but doing so may interfere with the already thirsty engine and ride comfort..

hi... im also from malaysia.. same like you all have CR-V.. my concern is to upgrade sound system to AV system which mean to intall OEM DVD / GPS / TV / etc. Do you know what is the best brand name for the said item? my future plan to install front / rear / side camera....

Saya setuju sangat ngan cadangan farhathaniff tuh. Dah lama carik club CRV nih tapi tak jumpe Malaysia punye cawangan....huhuhuhu. Dulu saya join HOC (Honda Owners Club) gang2 Klang tapi bile TT session jek saya sorang jek pakai CRV. Itu skali jek ikut diorang TT. Pastu segan le....kete memasing ganaih2.... Saya pakai CRV 1997 (4WD ELX). Walaupon lama tapi da merata Malaysia jalan, gunung Brincang pon selambe lenjan....hahahahahaha.
