Another New Newbie from Malaysia!

Hey CRVOC members!

Im Farhat, from Malaysia. Recently (a month ago) received my long awaited Honda CRV 2010 (Facelift) in Crystal Black Metallic. I litterally ditched the sub compact i used to drive and I love this car alot! Fuel may be expensive but the ride is worth it.

***To all Malaysians CRV Owners, I am planning on opening up a CRVOCM! (hint the added 'M' Malaysia). We have quite a number of happy CRV owners but lacking a single Club.

Any advices and tips for the 2010 CRV for me? Im getting its first service check up tomorrow (1200KM already).

So, about my CRV (Licence WUC 5**:

2010 Facelift
with added (external): Modulo Side Steps, Modulo Wind Deflector with Chrome (all windows), Modulo Rear Spoiler, additional 8 Layer Safety TintCool Tinted windows.
Interior: Black fabric, iPod USB Interface.

lights as standard equipment. Asian model same as in the
Philippines......We don't have them here in N.A.

Is that true? I thought the side mirror signal lights are standard on all models! Well we have a few drawbacks ourselves. You guys can choose from a variety of models, in Malaysia (i dont think it applies other SEA countries), we only get one model and one price, around USD $ 46500 incl Tax without additional aesthetic equipments for a 2.0 without Navigation.

So we all have our envious moments

Asian model have 2 choices of either 2.0 or 2.4.

North America have only 2.4...

What kind of engine oil are you using?

I only use synthetic mobil 5 - 20w

still no CRVOC in malaysia...heard some guys tried to organized it a few years ago and they had their 1st "TT" session too. But then heard no more from them.

btw, i'm using Honda semi-syn oil
