Hello Gorilla. Enjoy your new wheels. But a CRV is not a 4X4. Far from it. Real Time 4WD. Rear wheels only switch on for very short periods when needed.

And yes. I agree that this site is very slow.

i see a driveshaft going to the back wheels, and front wheel drive cv's - axles going to the front wheels.
theres no 4x4 switch on the dash or anywhere inside the cab.
this mean it's not a full time 4x4 ?

There's a pile of information around about Honda's Real Time 4WD. Do a search here or just GOGGLE. Also be aware of the maintenance requirements. The hydraulic fluid in the rear end needs to be changed on a timely bases. Lot of discussion about that on these forums.

now i had to replace a fuse for the cig lighter.
i pulled - looked at the fuses since i just got my crv, with the key on run mode. my bad.
now the srs light is on, and will not go out.
there must be a no-brainer fix, without going to the dealership and getting remmed ???
