Hi,
I'm trying to remove the cv axle from the driver side.I'm not sure know how to remove the cv axle. theres two bolt holding the axle just below the oil filter . I'm not sure if that needs to be remove.
The reason why I'm replacing the axle is that the boot ripped and is making that clicking sound , booth turning and driving straight.
Any link to the "how to" would be awesome. I tried google but nothing comes up.

my car ia a 1998 honda crv.

Maybe I am missing something here. On my 2000 I only replaced the right axle when it separated because the ball joint broke. I did end up removing the left axle from the spindle so I could change the ball joint on that side as well. Are you saying the axle won't fit through the spindle where the wheel attaches? It sounds to me like you are trying to say you can't get the splines to line up and it should be easy to turn either the transmission or the wheel to get them lined up. Maybe the axle you bought is the wrong size on the end?
