.......but now it's purple. Bird droppings, that's what. Guess they're filling up on berries. The result looks terrible my silver CR-V. :eek: Damn!

Hope you can get them off quick. Bird droppings can contain small bits of rock and sand and can be quite acidic. Use LOTS of water before trying to use any kind of gentle scrubbing.

Here's a pic from one of my trips to Hawaii (Big Island). This poor rental Ford Explorer got a monster of a purple dropping. When I washed the vehicle before returning it - I had to as it was so muddy from all of the off-roading - it had permantly damaged the paint, eating thru the clearcoat!
