I am looking for recommendations for sources for replacement spark plugs for a 2001 CR-V.
The OEM plug is a NGK zfr6f-11.
The best price I can find on the web is Sparkplugs.com at $2.44 per plug plus $9.54 for shipping. This works out to $3.63 a plug. If I went to the local Honda dealer the cost would be $3.11 per plug.
Any thoughts alternate web sources with free shipping?
Thanks, Upton-CRV
I got my NGK Iridium plugs from Advance Autoparts in Houston. I thought ordering online would be cheaper, but it really isn't.
I paid less in the store then I would have online.

Thanks, Upton-CRVA local auto parts store might do you even better. You have just spent how much time over how many $? Stick with OEM or the Iridiums, but stay away from Bosch plugs in a Honda.

No problem! I really like Advance, they are much better than autozone.
Good luck!

Picked up the OEM NGK spark plugs on Thursday for $1.99 a piece at Advance Auto Parts. Did the swap in both of my CR-Vs today.
The plugs in the red CR-V (63K miles) looked like originally installed NGKs. The gap had grown to .060.
The plugs in the Blue CR-V (59K miles) were Densos and probably were installed at the 30K mark. They were not as tight as the ones in the Red V. The gap on these 4 was about .050.
Both CR-Vs are purring again with there OEM NGKs installed. Maybe next time I'll go for the NGK Iridium Goes to show you what $8 of service at the scheduled interval will do for performance.
BTW. It was a breeze to install with the correct socket and extension.
