Hello,

New member here. I live in the Cayman islands and just imported from Japan this CRV. Its a 2002 Pearl white (great color IMO) Fullmark iL 2WD. Its a RHD which has stock Xenons (they are really bright), rain sensor & stock dark window tint. The japanese version also does not have the rear tire, it just has a spare under the table. This model has the 2.0l i-VTEC engine and not the 2.4l like in N-A ; more than enough power for me as there are no hills in Cayman and max speed on 75% of the island is 40 MPH.

These pictures were taken this week-end when my wife & I went for a drive around Grand Caymans less populated East End area.

Great pictures. Welcome to the forum. I know you are keeping an eye on TS Dean. It has gotten our attention already here in Mobile. If it follows, the current, projected path it coming by you and into the gulf.

You bet. I get those automated alerts on my Blackberry. The "Hurricane kit" is ready and my V will have a safe place to stay in case Dean rolls thru here.

That's nice I like the no tire look better than the U.S. version with the tire. Also Rain sensors, xenon lights? Why are the japanese versions of cars always better? It's not fair.

Thanks! I was not sure about the "no wheel" when I bought it on the Internet (all I had was 2 small pictures) but ever since I got it I really like the look.

Yeah ... those JDM's get all the goodies. I was really pleased to have OEM Xenons on it.
