Where can I get a set of side marker lights for my 07 CRV. I see the mirrors look like something, somewhere, in the world is available. I would even mount some on the front side like on other European and Mazda models. They help in freeway driving. I don't know why Honda doesn't include them on US models.

This would be a benefit to have these side turn lights. One of my neighbors is the Assistant Manager of the Parts Department at a Honda Dealership. When I asked him a similar question a month or so ago he answer resolved around the cost of fixing or replacing the light bulbs. Apparently, the mirror would have to be taken apart to change the light, thus increasing the labor time and cost. This cost is probably why the Acura RDX has these lights.

The 2 of you are talking about 2 different things.
Side marker lights are probably not included because they are not a federal requirement.
The other poster is talking about turn signal mirrors. Completely different thing.

No, we are talking about the same thing. My Audi had the small lights on the side that flashed. They were referred to as side marker lights also. Old European side marker lights stayed on for parking purposes. I installed a set of side lights on my truck and wired them up to stay lit when the lights were on and then they flash when turn signals on that side came on. They work out well for freeway driving. These were the normal side marker lights used to light up trailers etc. I'll check online for the same type Mazda uses(clear that flash only).
