Can i ask you something/ I heard a hamming noise coming under my hood specially when the a/c is on? can I have your opinion regarding this matter, kung a/c comp na ito, I replaced the tensioner and the clutch still in good shape.

I'm excited about this CR-V, I've been wanting to own one since it came out but never had the chance to. You're just the guy I could compare notes with regards to accessories and maintenance I hope you won't mind. My CR-V didnt have an original honda crv jack, would you know where to get one? Honda Parts has one for 3,600Php, kinda steep price for an auto jack I could settle for a portable alligator jack for 750Php. Thanks hope to hear from you or any of you guys outthere.

My Honda crv has the navigation system in japanese.
Can anyone teach me to store phone numbers and make phone calls on the navigation system.
I have managed to sucessfully pair my phone so receiving calls is easy. I just do not know the sequence of commands to dial the phone or call stored numbers, or to store the numbers to begin with.
Please help!!!!!!!!! I love my car and would love to be able to use this voice activated dialling.

Windshield tint is not for me, honestly. Drove a friend's civic there and she must have had maybe a lighter tint to medium black, and I kinda had a hard time at night when the sun set that day I was driving..

It was about 1 hr north of fresno, sinadya ko yun trip just to take pictures with my V in the snow hehe. :)

The price of the 2.4, i know was expensive... I think (if my brain can remember from 07-08 when i was there)... ran about P1.2-1.3Million yata... Looks like i-vtec got his from a Honda Cars Makati group, just not sure which dealer exactly he got it from...

ROMAN, when you shop for a car there, check EVERY dealer that's close by because all dealers offer different things. The prices may be the same, but I know some extra fees or whatever may be different from dealer to dealer. I remember when I ALMOST bought a Mitsubishi Fusion, I had to get it from Mitsubishi Quezon Ave because they were the only ones running the promo price while the other dealers were "out" of the promo...

Also, i'm not sure what you plan on insurance with the car, some dealers require you to purchase full coverage when you buy it, while some are ok with just TPL ...

Some reason it's not the same as the way dealers work here in America, so that's just my food for thought. ;)

I would think that it's the compressor already. You can try having the oil in the compressor of the aircon checked. If your from manila you can bring it to the Denso service center in autocamp in pasig across Meralco

Ang problema kung minsan is that the service manuals sometimes only go up to a certain mileage. For example, with our 97 Odyssey they only have services up to 120,000 miles yata. Eh nasa 161,000 na yun Odyssey so ang ngyayari is our Service Advisor has to do the math in his head and will explain what services are needed. Ex: Since it only goes up to 120,000 the 30k tune-up interval he has to compute in his head now at what miles I need to do a tune-up.

For some odd reason I don't think my CRV sa pilipinas has a service manual... I could be wrong though. I only recall having the owner's manual and that's it. Then again I was one of the first people in the Philippines to purchase the 1st Gen CRV hehe :D:o

I am waiting for my Philips x-treme to be delivered today or next week, this one is intended for my Accord 08,,,, Di ko muna papalitan tong sa CRV. Wifey got the CRV EX 09 last month. Go for x-treme, may user ng accord na gamit to and lampas one year na sa kanya and still going.
By the way anybody na naglagay ng chrome mirror cover sa V nila... planning to order one this week,,,, yung pillars ko na chrome ko na last chrome na itong mirror covers.

nag order na din ako ng philips xtreme, baka nxt week ko pa makuha, galing pa europe. nakita mo ba difference? sobra mahina kasi oem na headlights ng V. I'm planning to disable the DRL also para medyo matagal lifespan.

I am not sure kung yung candlepower where I ordered my Xtreme is based in europe;;; i believe US based ata sila. If ang V is the same sa Accord where in the DRL bulb that lights up is yung high beam then i suppose no need to disable the DRL. I only ordered for the low beams,,,,, di naman kasi masyadong nagagamit ang highs.
May nakita akong pics before ng stock, nightbreaker and X-treme, based on my readings stock pa rin ang color ng Xtreme hindi siya sa white side,,,, mas maliwanag lang nga and mas nagagamit sa ulan,,, pag basa ang daan,

Any one who can post a pic of there V with chrome mirror covers.
By the way Weathertech floor liner is great,,,, swak na swak sa V.

received my extreme bulbs yesterday ng hapon,,,
,, di na rin makapagantay bukas kaya ngayon ka na papa install ang bulbs,,, goodbye stock bulbs

got them installed. just tested is a few minutes ago,,,, happy? yes and no. Yes it is much brighter than the stock bulbs,,,, no, cause i think somehow the shop that installed the headlights messed up with my left headlight cause the cut-off difference between the left and right headlight is way off compared to how it was before. Anybody knows how to adjust it properly?

sixpackabs, confirm ko lang. sa last post ko kasi sabi mo sa accord mo lagay ung xtreme? sa accord ngaba ito? o sa CRV? dyo think much whiter sya or brighter lang talaga?
where did you have it installed? kung sa honda ka I think libre lang, pwede ka bumalik dun para pa adjust mo. I think rotate mo lang ata ung bulb.. not sure..
can you send some pic ung totoo na size.

I installed this on my accord. Mas brighter siya and medyo mas extended ng abante ang liwanag. I didnt have this installed at Honda, just a shop close to my place.

Pwede ikabit yun arm rest sa 2000 model.. madali lang kung marunong ka magkalikot ng konti... the only place I know where you can buy these arm rests is sa H&A Accessories dito sa CRVOC or minsan meron sa ebay

most probably di na set ng maayos ang retainer rings kaya di naka focus ng maayos. make sure na naka lock ng maayos ang clips sa retainer rings

bumalik nga ko dun. try sila sa isang wall. looks ok. pero sa gabi mukhang sabog ung ilaw. di kaya dahil malaki lang na 'extend" ng focal distance ng light? pero di ata dapat ganun? hehehe.

ung una na pic ay normal beam na malapit, mukha talaga sya ok. pero look at the bottom picture (ganda ano, ang layo ng kanyang focus) the left headlight looks closer to the right. I dnt know if this is normal because we drive on left side. (I have read an article before that it tends to give a focus far away far from oncoming motorist)

My wife has a V 2001 and she loves it more than me , she had it since new but lately she was complaining about the rough idle and she was even stalled it. I checked if there is any trouble code ,I found nothing. So kung sino man ang nakaka-alam ng possible problem paki share naman thanks............:) :confused:

kamusta mga kabayan! i'm a proud owner of a 1st Gen-V (not enough dough for 3rd Gen-Vs :o) This is our first suv that we've just acquired last dec.'09 and we would love to keep it as long as it takes.
We do have a slight problem with our V and hoping some great DIY help/tips from the club:
-Radio(kenwood DPX-4010) just turned off(i've checked the fused but its all good):confused: any ideas fellas how this happened and how can i fix it DiY style?!
I also have a kenwood DPX-4020,we're planning to replace the 4010 with the 4020 but then again i'm clueless. So, if anybody can give us an advice on how to do this Diy style(illustration is a big help for a dummy like me) it would be a great help for us most importantly on our savings.

Balak kong iupgrade audio system ng CRV ko. Any suggestions sa HU na sakto sa receiver opening na lalabas na parang stock unit pa din and gusto ko ding lagyan ng under the seat subwoofer (we use the trunk a lot.)

may nakapag kabit na ba ng powered sub or amp sa stock HU ng 2008 CRV EX? san kakabit ung remote turn on cable? kailangan ba talagang buksan ung dash para lang sa remote turn on cable? balak ko sanang sa rear door speakers ko na lang idaan ung connection thur the speaker wires. Walang alam sa car audio and willing lang matuto kaya gusto kong ako gumawa. :-D salamat sa tulong. :-)
