2004 trans fluid change

I need to change the fluid and I saw the video for the 2002, is it the same for the 2004? I thought it had to be done on a machine that changes it but then I read a post that suggested just changing it 3 times over the course of a month which would be better for me but not sure if it would be adequate. I had it over to a friends shop today and he couldn't even find the line underneath due to the shroud covering. BTW it has 95k and this has never been done so I know its long overdue!
