I have used this for 'washing' my car in the winter. I go to a car wash and rinse the car with water (no soap, no brushes, no auto car wash). After 'rinsing' I spray this stuff on and wipe clean with a microfiber rag; followed by a final wipe with a clean/dry microfiber rag. It works nicely and leaves a very light protection layer and a nice sheen.

I've used this on occasion after a wash or something just to buff out a bit more shine. Nice stuff.

I've been doing some research and Meguiar's seems to get great reviews for their car-car products.
I'm new to this, so one quick question - are their products safe to use on brand new cars?? I don't want to lose that new sparkle look to my Red Pearl 08 CR-V. on the other hand, living in Central Canada, I know I WILL lose that sparkle if I don't do something about it.
Is Meguiar's a safe choice for a newbie like myself??
